This Privacy Policy explains how 3Point Precision LLC, doing business as Headline and The Locker by Headline ("Headline," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit shopwithheadline.com or rips.shopwithheadline.com, shop with us in store, join a break, use a customer account, or otherwise communicate with us (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify, which helps us provide the Services. If this policy conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy controls for anything about personal information.

By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information we collect

"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order and payment details: what you buy, sell, consign, or submit for grading; payment method and confirmation (card numbers are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us); store credit and Locker Rewards activity.
  • Account details: login credentials, preferences, saved addresses, Rips account activity, and break or platform usernames you share with us.
  • Identity verification: a copy or record of government-issued ID when required for high-value orders, pickups, or when we buy items from you, as required by law or our fraud policies.
  • Communications: emails, texts, support tickets, form submissions, and messages on platforms such as Discord.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you use the Services, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • In-store information: purchase history, consignment or buyback intake forms, and video from security cameras at The Locker by Headline.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through the Services, from our service providers (for example Shopify, Klaviyo, payment processors, and carriers), and from partners such as live-stream platforms, our consignment partner, and grading companies when you use those services through Headline.

2. How we use it

  • To run the Services: process orders, payments, shipping, pickups, breaks, Digital Rips, store credit and Locker Rewards, grading and consignment submissions, buy offers, and customer support.
  • To communicate with you: order and account notifications, and, if you opt in, marketing emails and text messages. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time and reply STOP to end texts.
  • To improve and personalize the Services: understand how the Services are used, remember your preferences, and recommend products.
  • For security and fraud prevention: verify identity, detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, and platform manipulation, and protect our staff, customers, and property.
  • For legal reasons: comply with law (including record-keeping rules for buying secondhand goods), respond to legal requests, and enforce our terms and policies.

3. How we share it

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers: Shopify (store hosting, checkout, customer accounts, store credit), payment processors, shipping carriers, email and SMS providers, analytics, support tools, and automation tools that operate our programs.
  • Partners you use through Headline: grading companies (PSA, CGC), our consignment partner, live-stream platforms, and manufacturer buyback programs, to the extent needed to provide that service.
  • Marketing partners: including Shopify's advertising features, which may use your activity on our store and other sites to show you relevant ads. Depending on where you live you may have the right to opt out of this "sharing"; see section 7.
  • Legal and business reasons: to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our policies, to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, sale, or financing of our business.
  • With your direction or consent.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Shopify

Our Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes information about your use of the Services to provide and improve them, including for certain enhanced features that use data from your interactions with our store and other Shopify merchants. For those features, Shopify is responsible for the processing. You can read Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise rights over that data at privacy.shopify.com.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, keep you logged in, remember your cart, measure performance, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Services work.

6. Children

The Services are not intended for children, and you must be 18 or older to make a purchase or open an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. We do not knowingly "sell" or "share" the personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information. You can make a request by emailing support@shopwithheadline.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent with proof of authorization. If you are unhappy with our response, you may be able to appeal by contacting us or complain to your local privacy regulator.

Marketing: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and text STOP to end text messages. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your orders and account.

8. Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee security. Please do not send sensitive information (such as full card numbers) by email or text. We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, meet legal and tax obligations (including secondhand-purchase records), resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

9. Third-party sites

The Services link to third-party sites and platforms (such as Fanatics Live, Whatnot, Discord, PSA, CGC, and our consignment partner). Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.

10. International users

We are based in Florida, USA, and process information in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date and give any notice required by law.
